Dear friends of the Children of Russia Foundation!

In December the construction of the Rehabilitation Center for Children with Cancer and Blood Diseases in Vladivostok has been completed.

The Governor of Primorsky Krai Sergey Darkin announced this in the local media. This makes our main mission accomplished.

We are very grateful to all of you who helped make this dream come true.

We hope that the Center will be successfully transfered to the city of Vladivostok and children who are waiting for the Center will be able to move in.

We hope that this first Center will facilitate the appearance of other such centers in Russia.

The Foundation was closed on March 15, 2009

UNESCO granted its Aegis to our Foundation!

K.Matsuura, General Director of the UNESCO, wrote in his letter the following,"...UNESCO attaches considerable importance to the development of inclusive approaches in education as a necessary tool to reach the Dakar goals on Education for All. <…> These principles are also shared by the educational programme of the Children of Russia Foundation and I am pleased to see that the idea of inclusion in education and society is paramount to the Foundation". more
